SUMMARY

The Mitigation Manager leads a team of technicians restoring homes and businesses after disasters such as floods and fires. The ideal candidate is socially inclined, a strong communicator, detailed, quick, motivational, and highly organized. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage consistent change, and the skills to inspire teams to deliver high-quality work. Successful managers combine empathy and reliability with strong organizational discipline, ensuring customers receive extraordinary care during their time of need.

OUTCOMES

·   Lead mitigation team to meet or exceed NPS (>70) and Scorecard (>73) compliance targets.
·   Ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, and meet Paul Davis and industry standards – compliance >90%.
·   Coordinate team performance to achieve profitability goals.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

·   Lead mitigation crews performing water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, environmental services, and carpet cleaning/removal.
·   Direct daily team huddles to ensure crews are prepared with clear priorities, equipment, and resources.
·   Meet with clients and adjusters on-site to resolve issues and provide professional guidance.
·   Re-inspect job sites for quality control and ensure compliance with Paul Davis and industry specifications.
·   Deliver excellent customer service with empathy, urgency, and professionalism.
·   Foster collaboration across departments and support other team members as needed.
·   Ensure clean, organized, and properly stocked trucks and equipment are maintained at all times.
·   Be accessible by phone and participate in the on-call schedule as required.
·   Represent the Paul Davis brand with professionalism, integrity, and leadership.
 
QUALIFICATIONS

·   Strong communication and listening skills; able to engage effectively with staff, customers, and partners.
·   Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
·   Quick decision-maker with the ability to adapt to and lead through consistent change.
·   Commitment to customer service with empathy and urgency.
·   Positive, team-oriented attitude; dependable and resilient under pressure.
·   Ability to lead individuals from diverse backgrounds.
·   Fluent in English; valid driver’s license with clean record.
·   Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

·   Previous industry and leadership experience is a differentiator.
